About Linda
*This animal is currently at a foster home and not at the shelter*Hi there, I’m Linda. I’m four and a half years old, with soft, listening eyes that seem to say: I’m here for you. I love sunlit patches on the floor, a cozy blanket, and a day that includes a gentle wander outside, a careful sniff of the garden, and a comfy nap in a warm corner. Indoors and outdoors suits me just fine—I’ll curl up in a sunbeam one minute and explore the yard the next. I’m calm, curious, and ready to be your steady companion who listens without rushing you. Who I am: I’ve met a few dogs in care and I tend to connect best with dogs about my size. I’m polite and respectful when introductions happen, and I’d need a proper meet-and-greet if there’s another dog at home. I thrive on daily opportunities to learn about life—seeing new places, gentle routine shifts, and the everyday mysteries of the world. I adapt to new surroundings with patience, though I may take a little time to settle. A quiet, predictable home where calm guidance and a steady rhythm rule is where I’ll truly shine. A home for me would be peaceful and thoughtfully paced. I’m best with children aged 6 years and up, who can read my signals and give me space when I need it. I need secure outdoor access—either a fully enclosed yard or an enclosure attached to the home, with a solid fence I can’t climb. If there’s another dog, we should meet first and plan the introductions. I’d rather avoid busy off-leash parks with unknown dogs. I don’t have a known history of issues with other pets, but the right introductions are key to a harmonious day. If you think our pace could match, I’d love to meet you. Come say hello in person or start an adoption path—I’m ready to step into a calm, loving routine with someone who notices the quiet beauty in everyday moments. I’m Linda, and I’m hoping we can begin this chapter together.
