About Emmy
Meet Emmy, an adorable happy lil nugget with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and a stumpy tail that somehow still manages a full-body wag. Emmy’s favourite place in the world is wherever her humans are. On the couch? She’s there. Heading out for a walk? Absolutely coming. Pottering around the house doing boring human things? Emmy will happily supervise. She is a true companion who wants to be part of the action, whether that action is an adventure or an exceptionally uneventful Tuesday. She’s also a clever little cookie. Emmy is super keen to learn and has picked up the rules of her foster home quickly. When the day is done, she’s quite happy to tuck herself into her crate for a peaceful night’s sleep, ready to recharge for tomorrow’s important business. Emmy currently lives with an older foster fur-brother, whose seniority she respectfully acknowledges, and a foster fur-sister who is her partner in crime. The girls wrestle, hang out together and, when things get a little too quiet, Emmy likes to steal the tennis balls in the hope of starting a chase. This generally leads to zoomies, which Emmy considers a very successful outcome. She happy dances when she spots another dog she’d like to meet, loves her walks, and firmly believes pats and attention from humans should be available in unlimited quantities. Her ideal human? Someone looking for a little sidekick to share life with. Emmy loves companionship, so she’ll be happiest in a home where her people are around more often than not and genuinely want a dog who is part of their everyday life. If you’re looking for an adventure buddy, couch companion, enthusiastic walking partner, champion ball thief, and tiny stumpy-tailed shadow, Emmy might just be your girl.
🐾 A Few Important Things to Know
• Interstate adoption is available at the adopter's expense. Please contact us for a transport quote. Puppies under 12 weeks of age are unable to fly and will remain in foster care until they have completed their veterinary work and are old enough to travel.
• Breed and adult size: As a rescue organisation, we cannot always guarantee a dog's breed mix or their expected adult size.
• Medical conditions: Any known medical conditions or ongoing care requirements will always be clearly outlined in the dog's adoption profile.
• Veterinary care: All puppies and dogs are adopted with proof of their completed veterinary work.
• Making an enquiry: When submitting an enquiry, please include a little information about yourself, your location, and your contact details. This allows us to pass your enquiry on to the foster carer, who will contact you if they believe the dog may be a suitable match.
• If you are renting: Please include a copy of your current lease agreement or written approval from your landlord confirming that pets are permitted at the property. This will assist us in processing your application.
