Meet Onyx

Onyx is a handsome Shar-Pei with a big heart and plenty of personality. This affectionate boy loves spending time with his people and will thrive in a home where he can be included in daily family life. Whether it's relaxing indoors or enjoying some outdoor fun, Onyx is happiest when he's by your side.

While previous dog ownership experience is not essential, adopters should have a good understanding of the Shar-Pei breed and their unique traits. Researching the breed or having prior experience will help set Onyx up for success in his new home.

Onyx would be best suited to a family with older children or teenagers who can respect his space and build a positive relationship with him.

He may be able to live with a friendly, social, and compatible dog pending a successful meet and greet. He has not been tested with cats.

A secure yard with fencing of at least 5 feet is recommended to keep him safe. In return, Onyx will reward his new family with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of love.
