About Milo SUK015748
Meet Milo, a stunning teenage gentleman with a heart full of love and big dreams of living a life of luxury! This gorgeous boy has his forever home all planned out — creamy treats, feather chasing, ball batting, cosy naps and, most importantly, lots and lots of cuddles with his favourite human. Milo is an affectionate, playful sweetheart who absolutely adores human company. He's also becoming quite the chatterbox, and once he's learnt the household routine, you can be sure he'll have his human well and truly organised!
Milo's ideal person will happily indulge him in a couple of play sessions each day before settling down on the couch to provide him with his favourite resting place — their lap! He loves being close to his people and has plenty of affection to share. However, Milo has made one thing very clear: he has absolutely no interest in sharing his kingdom with another feline! He must be the one and only cat in his forever home, where he can enjoy all the attention, cuddles and creature comforts for himself.
Milo sadly had his right front leg amputated following a severe injury. He has recovered beautifully, and we don't anticipate any ongoing concerns. However, having just one front leg means he can slip on hard floors and tiles, so a home with plenty of carpet or non-slip floor coverings is essential to help him move around safely and confidently. Milo must also be strictly indoor-only to ensure his ongoing safety and wellbeing.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
