A fun-loving little pup looking for his forever family ❤️

At just 7 months old and weighing 7.6kg, Dart is a happy, affectionate little boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for his people.

Dart has settled beautifully into foster care and loves being involved in whatever his humans are doing. Whether it's curling up on the couch while you read a book, exploring the backyard while you garden or keeping a very close eye on what's happening in the kitchen, Dart is happiest when he's part of the action.

He's a curious little explorer who loves investigating every nook and cranny of the backyard before launching into his famous zoomies. When he's not busy exploring, he'll happily shower you with kisses and squeeze himself onto your lap for a cuddle.

Dart is doing really well with his training. He's making great progress with toilet training, is crate trained, knows how to sit and walks nicely on lead. He's also very food motivated, which makes teaching him new things a whole lot easier! At seven months old, he's still learning about the world and would love a family who can continue his training as he grows.

Dart enjoys meeting other dogs. He can be a little unsure initially, but once he realises he's found a potential playmate, he's ready for a game! We think he'd love having a friendly older dog around to show him the ropes and keep him company.

His compatibility with cats is currently unknown, and he would suit a home with older children or teenagers, as he can still be a jumpy pup who's learning the ropes.

Dart would love an active family with a securely fenced backyard where he can stretch his legs, explore and burn off some of that puppy energy. He's happy spending a little time in his crate while his humans are out and equally happy being your little shadow when they're home.

Then there's Dart's personality quirks. He's a notorious sock thief, has an unexplained fascination with feet and occasionally likes to test his mountain goat credentials by climbing onto the top of his crate. 😂 There's never a dull moment with this boy! He is learning "no", and redirection and positive reinforcement are helping him keep his manners in check. 😉

Dart is a gorgeous young dog who has so much love to give. He's affectionate, playful, clever and full of personality. He's at that wonderful age where he's learning about the world, and with a family willing to give him guidance, adventures and plenty of cuddles, he's going to make someone a very special companion.
