Whether it's a leisurely stroll around the neighbourhood, relaxing in the backyard, or simply keeping you company while you go about your day, Hank is happiest when he's by the side of someone he loves.
This laid-back lad would be more than happy to share his home with a fellow canine who also appreciates the finer things in life, like long naps and quiet afternoons. That said, Hank would be just as content soaking up all the love and attention as the only four-legged member of the family.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
