About Ranger
If there was a scale to rate a kitten's playfulness and snuggliness, Ranger would score a 10 out of 10 on both counts.
He seems to have boundless energy and will pounce on anything that looks like it might move. But the one thing he'll slow down for is cuddles. He's desperate for them! He will literally climb your leg to get into your arms (watch out if you're wearing shorts!) And once he's there he purrs and purrs, and holds on like "please don't ever put me down!" He is just ridiculously cute!
He's also a really chatty little guy. He wants to tell you all about it. Or possibly he's just saying "Pick me up!"
The one thing Ranger wouldn’t like is to be lonely. He needs to be in a house with either lots of human company or another kitty to be friends with.
Ranger and his brothers, sister and mum came to the rescue when he was only a few days old, so he's really always been around people. He's a confident little guy. Unfortunately they also came in with ringworm, which he has only just gotten over. This is why all his pictures are in a bathroom. He's been in quarantine. He can't wait to burst out and explore. He wants to meet his forever family and be one of the crew!
Medical notes
Ranger and his siblings all had ringworm. He still has a couple of bald patches, but he's all clear now and the fur will grow back!
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
