About 🍬Candytuft & Moonflower🌛
Candytuft and Moonflower absolutely love each other! While they’re about 18 months apart in age, so not siblings, we can’t remember the last time we had a pair of cats come into care who were so completely devoted to each other. They are of course looking for a forever home together and we will not consider individual applications for the girls.
Candytuft is the more confident and outgoing of the pair, always keen to play or explore or just get lots of pats. While Moonflower takes a bit longer to warm up to people, once she does, she’s just as playful and affectionate as Candytuft and they love to snuggle in your lap together.
The girls both love attention and being patted so you’ll need both hands free for them, so you can pat them both at once! Candytuft can be a little pushy when it comes to getting attention and will sometimes climb or sit on Moonflower to get to the front of the pat queue, but Moonflower doesn’t mind and will give Candytuft a little kiss and a groom to say no hard feelings. The girls are so loving and sweet, it’s impossible not to fall completely in love with them.
They are both perfect with their litter trays, happily share food and groom each other regularly. They still both need grooming assistance from their people though and require at least one eye wipe per day and will need regular brushing as their coats start to grow back in. They will also need one or two professional grooms per year to keep their coats at their best.
If you’re looking for a ready-made cat family and you are willing to put in the work to keep the girls looking and feeling their best, you won’t find a sweeter pair of cats than Candytuft and Moonflower.
The girls are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, up to date with parasite treatments and have recently had dentals. They’re in care in Berwick and are looking for a home in Melbourne and surrounds.
