BEFORE RESCUE: Came to SAFE Esperance as a surrender

PERSONALITY: Friendly, cuddly and playful!

FAVOURITE THINGS: Wagner loves to play with anything that moves but especially loves toy balls that he can throw around. He also loves to play chase with the dog in his foster home. Once he’s finished playing, he’ll curl up for a snooze (preferably on a lap) before waking up and starting all over again! He’s not a fan of being picked up and would much rather make his own way to you for attention. He does also love to be able to lay near your head at bedtime.

OTHER ANIMALS: He doesn’t particularly like other cats so would prefer to be the only cat in his new home. He could live with a cat-savvy, friendly dog after gentle, supervised introduction.

GENERAL INFO: Wagner is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed. He’s flea and worm treated, litter trained and very clean.

ESSENTIALS for Wagner:

** A loving home where he’s given time initially to settle in and get comfortable, then gets plenty of attention but is treated gently. He would go well with gentle older children who will engage and play with him on a daily basis. He does sometimes chase which might scare younger children.

Wagner needs to be kept as an inside only cat or have access to a secure outside cat run.

Adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, first f3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment and microchip, including the transfer of ownership.

ADOPTION DETAILS
After applying, one of our SAFE coordinators will be in touch to arrange for you to meet with the cat/kitten or to talk to their carer for more information.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Esperance will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet’s microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
