About Rocket
Rocket is ready to blast his way into your heart!
At just four months old, Rocket is a fun-loving pup with a whole world left to discover. Everything is new, exciting, and worth investigating, and he's looking for a forever family to guide him through all of life's adventures.
This handsome young boy has the perfect mix of puppy playfulness and sweet affection. Whether he's exploring the backyard, learning new skills, or bouncing around with his favourite toys, Rocket approaches life with enthusiasm. But when the excitement is over, there's one thing he loves even more than playtime: cuddles. Rocket is a champion snuggler who will happily curl up beside you for some affection and reassurance.
As a growing pup, Rocket is eager to continue his training journey and learn all the important lessons that come with becoming a well-mannered adult dog. He's searching for a family committed to helping him build his confidence, manners, and skills through positive guidance and plenty of encouragement.
Rocket could thrive with an older canine sibling who can show him the ropes and teach him all the secret tricks of being a dog. A patient doggy mentor would be the perfect role model as Rocket continues to grow and learn. Of course, he's equally ready to shine as the centre of attention in a home where he's given plenty of opportunities to socialise and explore.
If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will fill your days with laughter, love, and endless cuddles, Rocket is ready to begin his next great adventure right by your side. 🐾❤️🚀

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
