Introducing Pixie, a cute and tiny Chihuahua with a big personality, weighing in at just 1.5kg. This little dynamo is active, playful, and wonderfully lively, bringing endless joy and entertainment to any household. Pixie adores human interaction and thrives on attention, making her an ideal companion for those who cherish the affectionate and spirited nature of Chihuahuas.

Pixie is happy to eat when there are other dogs around, however, she can be a bit fussy with food when is by herself so food must be left there for her and ahe will eat it when she is ready. She is currently fed with Royal Canin Puppy kibbles and small pieces of chicken breast for lunch, along with a home-cooked meal of chicken mince, liver, vegetables and rice for dinner. As a puppy, she is still mastering the art of training, but she has already aced using the soft flap doggy door. Indoors is where she feels most at home, loving to be near her people. On her favourite days, you'll find her zipping around the backyard doing zoomies, a testament to her boundless energy. Pixie is normally very quiet but can be a little noisy when playing with other small gentle dogs that match her size.

To ensure Pixie thrives in her new home, she would ideally be suited to a lifestyle with a secured courtyard or apartment with a safe balcony. Her affection for people means she would make a wonderful companion for families with older, respectful children. She’s already had two of her vaccinations, and her new family will need to ensure she receives the third one.

5. Do you have previous experience with this breed? If not, have you done thorough research into the breed, including its temperament, exercise needs, grooming, training and potential health requirements?

6. Are you familiar with the long-term responsibilities of dog ownership, including training, socialisation, exercise and ongoing care? Are you willing to give Pixie the time, patience and support she needs to settle into his new home?

7. How many hours will Pixie be left alone on a typical day? Who will be responsible for caring for her during your working hours, absences, holidays or other periods when you are unable to be with her?

8. Are you financially and practically prepared to provide your new pet with quality veterinary care, preventative healthcare, grooming and nutritious food throughout her lifetime?

9. Will your Pixie be considered a member of your family and primarily live indoors, with appropriate access to a secure backyard/outdoor area? Please describe where your new pet will sleep and how she will be accommodated overnight.
