Socks is a gentle soul with a heart full of love, looking for a calm and caring home where he can enjoy his golden years.

This handsome Bull Arab cross came into care when his family's circumstances changed, and they wanted to ensure he had every opportunity to live his best life. Since arriving in foster care, Socks has settled in beautifully and has truly started to show his sweet personality. As his confidence has grown, he's discovered that life can be a lot of fun. He has started to play, enjoys spending time with his foster siblings, and every now and then breaks into the most delightful zoomies when he simply can't contain his happiness.

Socks is a quiet and affectionate companion who thrives on love, routine, and feeling safe. He enjoys being close to his people and would be perfectly content spending his days relaxing by your side and soaking up attention.

Socks has previously lived with cats and has adjusted well to life with his foster dog siblings. Watching and learning from other dogs has helped him gain confidence, so he would happily share his home with a canine companion. Equally, he would do just as well as an only dog provided he receives plenty of love and companionship from his family.

Socks is a sensitive boy who can be easily startled by loud noises or sudden movements. When frightened, his response is simply to move away from the situation, and he has never shown signs of aggression.

Because of his gentle and cautious nature, Socks would be best suited to a quieter household with older, respectful children, or an adult-only home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace.
