Meet Baxter ❤️

Baxter is a sweet boy, initially very timid and unsure of his surroundings, he has slowly come out of his shell and is now showing his affectionate, cuddly and bouncy side with people he knows and trusts 💕

Baxter will need an experienced and understanding owner who recognises that timid dogs need time, patience and kindness to feel safe. He can still be quite nervous around unfamiliar people, particularly men, making it important that everyone in the household meets Baxter before adoption to ensure he feels comfortable and has the best chance of success!

Baxter may enjoy the company of a calm, gentle female dog or potentially a small dog to live with. He has previously lived with a male Dachshund, so a suitable canine companion could be a lovely addition to his new home 🐾

Baxter is looking for a home that will give him the time and space he needs to settle in at his own pace.
With patience, understanding and plenty of love, Baxter has so much potential to blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion.
