About Dexter
Meet Dexter!
A little shy when he first meets new people, this handsome boy just needs a little time to feel safe. Once he knows you're a friend, he'll melt into your affection, rolling over for pats, leaning into brushes, and even treating you to his adorable drooly cuddles. Using a gentle, choice-based approach will help his confidence blossom.
He's looking for a calm, loving home that will give him the time and space to settle in, with a safe room and predictable routines. Dexter will need a little extra grooming than most cats as well as plenty of enrichment.
Best suited to a teen or adult home but could potentially go home with older cat savvy children. He may also enjoy a feline companion with slow, thoughtful introductions.
Dexter would prefer to be indoors only and will be content inside with a sunny spot to perch and watch the world go by. This guy is full of love and ready to give it. Come on down and meet him today!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
