Meet Sassy
A sweet little lass whose name might be misleading, but whose cuddles certainly aren't!
Despite her name, Sassy isn't one for attitude or theatrics. In fact, this lovely girl is a little shy when meeting new people, but once she's had a chance to get to know you, her affectionate side comes out in full force! She's a big fan of cheek scratches, butt pats and rolling around in delight while she purrs with content. While being picked up might seem a little questionable at first, once she's comfy, she's quite happy to enjoy a cuddle in your arms. Sassy isn't a fan of toys, why would she be when she could simply relax and be adored instead?! She's a low-energy lady who appreciates the finer things in life, particularly Temptations treats, although she won't turn her nose up at a creamy treat either. She's also got her litter tray manners sorted and would appreciate a larger tray.
Sassy is looking for a peaceful home where she can enjoy the slower side of life and continue building her confidence at her own pace. She would be a lovely match for a first-time cat owner or a family with older children aged 15 years+ who understand that good things take time. She's also shown some promising social skills with other cats, offering friendly little chirps and calm sniffs, so she may be open to sharing her home with another feline following slow introductions. Sassy isn't asking for much - just a cosy place to call her own, a steady supply of cheek scratches and someone who appreciates that sometimes the quietest cats have the biggest hearts!

Post Adoption Life:
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
