Meet Ruth
A little lady who knows exactly what she wants, and when she wants it!
Ruth is a delightful, easy-going girl with a lot of affection to give and a little flair for the dramatic! When you first approach, you'll often find her rolling around on her bed, showing off her cutest moves in the hopes of winning your attention. And trust us, it's a pretty convincing performance! Ruth absolutely loves a good pat and isn't afraid to demand your affection, but once she's had her fill, she'll happily wander off to attend to her very important cat business. Cuddles are wonderful, but a lady has a schedule to keep! She's shown some interest in wand toys, enjoys her food without making a fuss, and generally takes life at her own leisurely pace. Her litter tray manners could use a little fine-tuning when it comes to aim, so a nice large tray would be ideal.
With her sweet, calm and confident nature, Ruth is the kind of girl who takes everything in her stride and seems to love just about everyone she meets! She could happily settle into a range of households and may even enjoy sharing her home with another friendly feline following slow introductions. Ruth would love access to a secure, enclosed outdoor area where she can enjoy some fresh air and watch the world go by. Ruth isn't asking for the world - just plenty of pats, a cosy bed to practise her rolling routine and a family who appreciates a lady with a little independence and a whole lot of personality!

Post Adoption Life:
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
