Meet Alba
The designated mum of the group!
You know that one person who makes sure everyone gets home safely, reminds you to drink water and somehow ends up looking after the entire group on a night out? Well, that's Alba! This beautiful girl has a heart of gold and a natural talent for taking everyone under her wing. She's loving, nurturing and has appointed herself head of the grooming department, happily giving other cats and kittens a good wash whether they've asked for one or not! She's friendly with everyone, loves affection and will happily settle onto your lap for a cuddle, although being picked up is not her thing and she'd prefer to keep all four paws on the ground. Toys and games aren't really her thing, food, however, is absolutely worth her time. Mousse treats, crunchy treats, you name it! Just don't expect her to work too hard for them. She's also got excellent litter habits and prefers an enclosed tray and, rather unusually for a cat, isn't particularly interested in cosy beds. Apparently, Alba knows best when it comes to interior decorating!
With her sweet, easy-going personality, Alba could be a lovely match for first-time cat owners or a quieter household with older children. She's wonderful with other cats and kittens, making her a great candidate for a home with feline friends. Alba isn't looking for a life full of chaos and excitement, she's much happier with good company, a comfortable lap and the occasional opportunity to give someone a thorough groom. She's the mum everyone needs, and now this mumma is hoping someone will look after her for a change!

Post Adoption Life:
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
