If there were an Olympic event for napping, Bowie would be bringing home the gold medal.

This handsome boy is an old soul wrapped up in a puppy's body, perfectly balancing playful bursts of fun with a deep appreciation for life's finer things... like comfy beds, soft blankets, cuddly toys, sunny patches of grass, and uninterrupted beauty sleep.

Bowie's idea of the perfect day starts with watching the world wake up, taking in the morning birds, and then heading straight back to bed for a well-earned second snooze. Whether he's stretched out in the sunshine, curled up in his crate, or tucked beneath a blanket like the cosy king he believes himself to be, Bowie has truly mastered the art of relaxation.

Don't let his love of naps fool you though. This clever young man still enjoys a quick zoomie session and a game or two before happily settling himself down again. He's wonderfully self-regulating and knows when he's had enough excitement, often choosing to retreat to his crate for some quiet downtime and a recharge.

In fact, Bowie's crate isn't just a crate. It's his safe haven. His personal retreat. His own little bedroom where he happily relaxes, snoozes, and decompresses whenever he needs some peace and quiet. Loud noises? No problem. Bowie simply removes himself from the situation and heads to his happy place, showing a maturity well beyond his age.

When you arrive home, expect the full Bowie welcome package: a dramatic stretch, a toy proudly carried in his mouth, and a tail wag so enthusiastic that his whole body joins in. It's impossible not to smile.

This food-loving superstar is also incredibly intelligent and eager to learn. Armed with a few tasty treats, Bowie has already mastered sit, stay, lay down, touch (recall), and middle, and is currently learning place training. He learns new skills remarkably quickly and thrives on positive reinforcement.

Bowie enjoys being part of family life without needing constant attention. He's independent enough to happily entertain himself, yet loves joining in on adventures, especially car rides. After a few minutes of excitement, he usually decides the car is simply another excellent place for a nap and settles in for the journey.

Bowie adores people and is always excited to make new friends. He can sometimes forget just how big he is when he's happy and enthusiastic, so continued guidance with polite greetings will help this lovable boy continue to grow into the incredible companion he's destined to be.

He is toilet trained with only very occasional accidents, sleeps through the night, and is learning gentle mouth manners like any normal puppy. His foster carer reports that he improves every single day.

Bowie is searching for a home that appreciates both sides of his personality: the playful youngster who loves a zoomie and a training session, and the peaceful old soul who dreams of sunny afternoons, soft blankets, and a cosy place to call his own.
