Meet Chili 🌶️

Chili is a long, lanky boy who hasn’t quite realised he’s not a lap dog! He’s incredibly loyal, absolutely loves his people, and seems to win over everyone he meets. He loves a cuddle and getting out for a run, but he’s also happy to chill out in the backyard while his people are at work.

He has a few funny quirks,, including a fascination with shiny things, an enthusiasm for chasing flies, and a cheeky side that means the bin is fair game if left unsupervised! 

Chili is great with free-range chickens and has always had a dog-sister. He could thrive as an only dog or alongside an easygoing, very gentle female canine companion. 

Despite his long legs, Chili is convinced he’s the perfect size for a lap dog and will happily snuggle up on the couch with you. His recall is improving every day as he continues to learn about the world outside his backyard. Chili would be suited to living in town if given lots of daily activities and ideally would love acreage to give him lots of space to stretch his legs. Being such a smart boy he will learn to adjust to any environment with the right family to guide and love him.

Chili is a big, gangly boy with a huge heart, a cheeky personality, and so much love to give.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee of $700 assists to cover the costs of desexing, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, and vet check.
