Lex is a sweet, chatty boy with a teeny-tiny meow, looking for a patient forever person.

About Lex:
Lex is a chatty boy albeit with a tiny meow - but that doesn’t stop him from having plenty to say. He adores pats and chin scritches, and when he wants affection he’ll meerkat for it, stretching up tall on his hind legs to ask for love. He’s also a playful boy, and catnip is his absolute favourite. Lex has the most adorable little face markings we've seen in a while. He really is the cutest thing!

What Lex Needs

Coming from a background with minimal attention, Lex has been slow to trust and is still quite skittish, so is seeking a special someone who understands he may take a while to settle into a new home, and who is okay with going at his pace.

Dear Lex would love to join a quiet household with just one, maybe two people: he seems to bond well with his special person. A new owner who has the patience to let him find his feet and learn that affection from his humans is a good thing. Then you too will be the recipient of his little chats!

Lex gets on well with the other cats in his foster home and came from a multi-cat household previously, so a confident feline companion could be good to help him find his feet in his new home. The most important thing, though, is that Lex learns to enjoy affection from his people.

If you have a kind soul and some patience to let Lex settle in, you’ll be rewarded with a sweet, talkative friend who will love you for your devotion to him. 🐱

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip - including the transfer of ownership - and sterilisation.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a STAR Adoption Enquiry Form. You will be advised if your chosen cat is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you beforehand. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, Second Tale Animal Rescue will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
