Hi, I’m Darla! I’m a gorgeous, affectionate girl whose favourite place in the world is right beside my humans. After my rough start to life, it’s now my turn to find my very special family.

Nature
I’m a total cuddlebug! I love snuggling beside you, on you (curling up half on and half off your chest or tummy is my signature move), or settling between your legs. I also love following my people around the house.

I’m not a big fan of closed doors or barriers because I want to be wherever you are. Ideally, I want to be right next to you… or even better, touching you!

Although cuddling is definitely one of my greatest talents, I have a playful side too! I enjoy playing with a feather on a stick, love a game of bitey hand, and particularly enjoy those classic cat games where we sneak up on each other before launching into a chase.

I’m wonderfully floppy and seem to love being picked up and held like a baby. I’ll also happily flop over for a belly rub, and I’m very good at letting you know when I’m ready for more cuddles. I might even grab your hand and pull it back towards me if you think you’ve finished patting me too soon!

I have wonderful litter manners, too!

I’m totally people-oriented, so I would be best as your only pet. I could also be suitable for respectful children who understand how to interact gently with cats.

I’m also a pretty tolerant girl. Loud noises and sudden movements generally don’t bother me much, and if something does give me a fright, I’m easily comforted by my human.

My PURR-fect home would be one where I can be part of the family and included in everyday life. I’d love a home with plenty of human company, where I can spend lots of time with my people. Ideally, I’d be your one and only kitty so I can have all the love and attention to myself!
