About Kino
Kino
Some cats are adventurers. Some cats are athletes. Kino has chosen a different path in life: professional relaxation.
This handsome fluffy grey boy has perfected the art of finding the comfiest spot in the house and settling in for the long haul. A sunny patch on the floor, a soft couch cushion, a cosy bed, or a freshly folded pile of laundry; if it's comfortable, Kino will find it. Once he's claimed his chosen throne, it takes something truly important to convince him to move. Usually, that something is dinner.
Kino is a laid-back soul who believes life is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace. He's happy to spend his days snoozing, lounging, and keeping a watchful eye on household activities from the comfort of his favourite nap spot. His calm nature makes him an easy companion, bringing a peaceful presence wherever he goes.
If your idea of the perfect feline friend is a fluffy couch ornament who doubles as a loving companion and takes his relaxation duties very seriously, Kino could be the cat you've been waiting for. All he asks for is a cosy home, a steady supply of meals, and plenty of comfortable places to continue his life's work of being delightfully lazy. 💙🐾

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
