Meet Freddo!

Freddo is a loving 6 year old American Staffy mix who's looking for a calm, understanding home where he can settle in at his own pace and continue building his confidence.

With his big staffy smile and gorgeous blue and white coat, this handsome guy loves human interaction and enjoys connecting with people. He can sometimes get a little overexcited, but he's easily redirected with treats and toys.

Freddo is looking for an adults-only home with people who understand his needs and are happy to continue working on his training. He already knows how to sit on cue and is very responsive to treats, but would thrive with further basic training and enrichment activities at home.

Freddo may be suitable to live with a well-matched dog subject to a positive meet and greet at the shelter. Freddo can feel a little unsure of himself when meeting other dogs, but if things become overwhelming, he's excellent at disengaging and doing his own thing. He would benefit from gradual, positive ongoing introductions with unfamiliar dogs to build up his confidence.

Freddo would thrive with an adopter who can provide plenty of enrichment, continue his training and help him channel his excitement in positive ways. He's already an amazing dog, but with patience and consistency he has so much potential to become even more fabulous.
