About Frank
Introducing Frank!
Frank is a Jack Russell x born approx 29th October 2023.
Frank was transferred to us from another facility due to kennel capacity issues. Unfortunately he wasn't microchipped, so we have no information on his previous history.
Since being with us, Frank has been a very sweet & affectionate boy. He has a thirst & excitement for life which is highly contagious. He's playful, cheeky, smoochy and an all-round sweetheart!
Frank tested quite well with other dogs, however he can be a little humpy with them. We understand this isn't always tolerated by other dogs. We believe Frank could be suitable to live with another dog or be the spoilt only "child" at home. If you have a friendly dog at home, we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Frank was non-reactive with our facility cat, however he does show prey drive towards our resident roosters. We believe Frank could be suitable to live with cats if given a slow and controlled introduction to them, however his new home should be free of smaller animals like chickens & rabbits.
Frank has shown no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety since being at the facility.
Frank would love to be adopted to a home where he is included in your daily activities and is treated as a cherished member of the family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Frank, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900272 to organise a meet and greet.
Frank's adoption fee is $600, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Frank is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Frank is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
