Hello, I'm Ari! I came into care very shut down and afraid of the world, I unfortunately had a very hard start to life and was kept in a confined area in horrible conditions. So, it's no fault of my own that I have a few quirks! I was able to warm up to the staff here that showed me how great cuddles can be! But when I do get excited to see them, I can get quite silly and love to tackle them with my love! I did come in with a few other dogs from the same property and I'm best friends with Kobe! We've helped each other overcome our fears and have been able to help build each other's confidence together. So, I wouldn't mind going to a home with another male dog who can show me the ropes, but I would like to meet them first to make sure we get along! It can take me little to familiarise myself with a new area, but once I'm comfortable, I do enjoy going for walks and exploring. I even do zoomies when I get excited enough! A home with older kids who can understand that they will need to go slow with me should be fine, or a home with just adults would be great too! I just need a family that are willing to put in the time and commitment to earn my trust, who will then be rewarded by my loving and silly personality!
