About Susie - 8 Month Old Rottweiler
If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will always be by your side, Susie
might just be your perfect match!
Susie is a beautiful 8-month-old Rottweiler with a big personality and an even bigger
heart. She’s a playful, affectionate girl who absolutely loves being around people.
Whether it’s joining in on some fun, soaking up attention or simply hanging out with
her favourite humans, Susie is happiest when she’s by your side.
Being a young Rottweiler, Susie is still learning the ropes and will benefit from a
family willing to continue her training and help her grow into a well-mannered adult
dog. She needs some further guidance with walking nicely on the lead and building
her confidence and social skills around other dogs.
Susie is friendly with both adults and children and loves to play. However, she’s a
big, enthusiastic puppy who doesn’t always realise her own size! For this reason, she
would be best suited to a home with older children who are comfortable around
larger, boisterous dogs.
Susie’s ideal home would be one where:
- She is included as part of the family and gets plenty of love and attention.
- Her new owners are committed to continuing her training and socialisation.
- She is the only dog in the household, at least initially, while she continues to develop her social skills around other dogs.
- She has opportunities for regular exercise, play and mental stimulation.
- Any children in the household are older and confident around large dogs.
Susie has so much love to give and is looking for a family who will embrace her
playful puppy energy while helping her become the best dog she can be.

Susie’s adoption fee is $900. She is microchipped, registered, desexed,
vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms. She is available for adoption in NSW
and ACT. She is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
