Meet Angel!

Angel is a sweet 5 month old Bull Arab x Staffy puppy who's looking for a loving forever home where she can feel safe, build confidence and grow into a happy, well-rounded dog.

Angel has had a bit of a rough start to life, having been found as a stray. Because of this, the world can sometimes feel a little overwhelming, and she may take some time to feel comfortable in new environments. She will thrive in a calm home with a predictable routine, where she can settle in at her own pace and continue building her confidence.

This clever little girl has already mastered sit and we're sure she'll learn plenty more with patience, encouragement and positive reinforcement. Her new family will need to be committed to ongoing, force-free training to help her develop trust, confidence and build a strong bond with her people. She has responded well already to clicker training, and our team has recommended that she learn basic skills such as down, mat training, and hand target training.

Angel will need to go to a home where everyone is secondary school-aged and older, as she may find younger children a bit overwhelming. She did well during her dog assessment with our behaviour team and could potentially share her home with a well-matched, confident dog who can help show her the ropes and be a role model. Continued slow, positive introductions to unfamiliar dogs will also help her build social confidence.
