About Frankie
Frankie is a super playful little pup who is absolutely full of beans. This happy, bouncy boy loves being around people and thrives on human interaction, always keen to be part of the action and soak up any attention on offer.
Frankie approaches life with endless enthusiasm and curiosity. Whether it's a toy, a leaf, or even his leash, he thinks everything is worth investigating and playing with! Like many young puppies, he is still learning his leash manners and occasionally decides the slip lead is part of the game. With positive reinforcement, food motivation, and gentle redirection, he is making fantastic progress every day.
Around other dogs, Frankie has been very well-mannered. He has interacted positively with smaller dogs and has shown no signs of negative behaviour. He is happy to have a polite sniff, then go about his own business rather than engaging in excessive or overwhelming play. While he enjoys canine company, people are definitely his favourite.
As a growing puppy, Frankie is also learning lots of important life skills. He is starting to learn how to use food enrichment toys and Kongs, which help keep his busy little mind engaged. He is gradually getting the hang of toilet training, enjoys relaxing in his bed, and is beginning to understand gate manners, even though controlling his excitement when people arrive can be a challenge for such a happy little guy!
After playtime, Frankie settles much more easily when provided with enrichment activities and boredom-busting toys. Keeping his mind occupied helps him relax and unwind, showing just how clever and eager to learn he is.
With his fun-loving personality, affectionate nature, and willingness to learn, Frankie is sure to bring endless joy, laughter, and companionship to his future family.
Medical notes
Upon admission to our care, little Frankie was observed to have one eye closed over. Veterinary advice suggests this is likely a congenital abnormality, although it remains uncertain whether an eyeball is present beneath the closed tissue.
