About Twinkie
winkie
1/10/2023 ☆ Female ☆ DSH ☆ Dainty little biscuit
Meet Twinkie, a quiet, dainty little lady who has had a hard start in life. She came into care with a foreign body in her chin, and we have no idea how it got there. The vet removed 30cm of something that resembled cotton. The residual swelling it left makes her look a tad grumpy, but don't let that fool you. She is truly the sweetest little bean.
Twinkie is tiny for her age. At three years old she is the size of a cat under one, which makes her even easier to love. She takes a little while to feel secure, and we think that's perfectly okay. Once she does, she will happily roll around for pats and enjoy a gentle touch. She is such a well behaved girl, and she would do okay with quiet or older children. She hasn't been tested with dogs, and we don't have a good read on her with cats yet. She was a little startled when she first came into care, but with the right introduction and environment she may thrive with a friend.
Twinkie is the kind of girl who rewards patience. Every roll for pats and every gentle bit of trust she gives will feel like a little gift, and she is ready to give them to the right person.
She would bring so much joy to a calm, quiet home with kind, patient people who are happy to let her settle in at her own pace.
Twinkie has had a tough beginning, and we would love to see her find the soft landing she deserves.
