🏹👑 MEET ZENA 👑🏹

Hi, I’m Zena! I came from a difficult start in life, having been abandoned alongside many other cats at a property that was due to be demolished. Thankfully, the Angels stepped in and rescued us, giving us a safe place to go and caring foster homes to call our own.

Nature
Because of my past, I can be quite shy and timid, but I’m slowly learning that people can be kind. I’m gaining confidence every day and will happily accept pats when I’m curled up in my bed or relaxing on my favourite blanket. I’ve even started meowing back at my carer when she talks to me!

With time, patience and lots of love, I’ll continue to come out of my shell and, in time, I’ll become a wonderful and loving companion.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I absolutely love other cats and would really like to find a home with at least one other friendly cat who can become my best friend.

I currently live with a medium-sized dog and would likely be comfortable with a calm, cat-friendly dog.

As I can be quite timid, I’d prefer a quiet home without young children, or one with older, gentle children who understand that I need time to settle in.

Likes / Dislikes
I enjoy both wet and dry food, and one of my favourite things is sitting by a window where I can soak up the sunshine and watch the world go by.

I also love scratching posts, especially ones with cosy hidey-holes where I can retreat when I need some quiet time.

As I’m still building my confidence, I’ll need to be an indoor-only cat, or have access to a secure outdoor cat run where I can safely enjoy some sunshine and fresh air.
My PURR-fect home would be a calm and peaceful one, with a loving family who understands that good things take time. Most importantly, I’d love to have a friendly cat bestie to keep me company and help me feel safe and confident. All I need is a little patience, a lot of love, and a safe place to call home.
