Young Leelu is a very sweet but timid girl. She is placid, gentle, a purrer, who loves pats around her head and face, and will purr contentedly, but needs some time to build up her courage to interact with strangers.
She loves to play zoomies with her sister, Narni Harborough, and enjoys quietly exploring. She likes to have spaces where she can hide and she is excellent at finding very good hiding spaces!
Leelu’s ideal home will be with a quieter family with respectful older children who will play with her when she wants and know to give her space when she needs it. The family needs to let her go at her own pace and let her interact with them on her own terms so that she can feel secure and build up her confidence. In return, the family who is able to give her the time, space and love that she deserves, will receive an abundance of love in return.
Leelu and her sister are very cute together; they'll sleep alongside each other on the cat tower at times and can be seen grooming each other. Sometimes, as they've brushed past each other, their tails intertwine, which is super cute.
Leelu is litter trained.
Leelu and Narni will be adopted together. The pair show good signs of being able to share a household with another friendly cat.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
