About Firelord Ozai
This sweet boy found himself in trouble after getting hurt by a raptor bird and slowly starving to death. Many thanks to Tiana from Pigeon Rescue Support who never fails to travel many hours when a bird is in need! He was delivered safely from Bendigo.
Initially “Firelord Ozai” had an old crop wound that healed initially on its own. But a few weeks on the injury site appeared to have reopened and a part of his crop had prolapsed.
Ozai was able to have it stitched up after a minor surgical procedure.
A few months on, Mr Ozai is as good as hood and would love to retire from his racing career in a home!
Ozai is a gentle boy who would prefer to live in an aviary outside with other friend(s).

Once you have expressed interest in a bird, we ask that you formally apply to adopt via our adoption form (this can be done ahead of time) which can be found on our website:

Please make sure to read our HOUSING REQUIREMENTS and ADOPTION POLICY.
From there we will work with the adopter to find a bird that suits their lifestyle, and organise a meet and greet at our shelter. We offer continious support post-adoption and are always available for help or questions.
