While Maverick is full of life and good health, he is FIV positive, a condition specific to cats that doesn't affect dogs or humans and need not deter you from adopting this affectionate boy. Cats with FIV can enjoy long and happy lives with some care, including living indoors and being the sole feline in the household, unless any other cats are also FIV positive.

With his fuss-free short coat requiring only the occasional brush, Maverick is low-maintenance but high on love and affection.
