Nova is a sweet, lovable young girl with a beautiful nature. She’s clever, eager to please and discovering just how lovely life inside a home can be. ❤️
She has been very good with the dogs she’s met, including large, medium and small dogs during her pound assessment. While travelling to her foster home, Nova spent a week at Big Dog Farm Stay, where she absolutely loved running and playing with her doggy friends. No reported reactivity through the fence or when she was together with the other dogs. She made such an impression that her carers said they shed a tear when she left. 🥹
Nova has only recently arrived at her new foster home and is already settling in beautifully. She’s met another dog and has been quite submissive and a very good girl.
Inside, she’s been relaxed and happy to watch her foster carer work, enjoy the toys and catch up on sleep. She’s already used the doggy door and slept like a baby through the night!
Having spent much of her previous life in a backyard, Nova is still learning house manners and toilet training. Her early progress is lovely, and she’ll need a patient family to continue her training, build her confidence and give her regular exercise and enrichment.
🏡 Nova’s ideal home:
🐾 A compatible doggy friend to play with, or she could suit being an only dog with great company and attention.
🐾 Secure fencing and a family who will include her in everyday life.
🐾 Cats and livestock are untested.
Nova has so much love to give and is ready for a family to help her keep learning. ❤️

Our Adoption Process 🐾

We aim to make the adoption process smooth and supportive, while ensuring every pet is placed in a safe, loving home.
1. Application
• Complete our application form in full.

Include photos of your secure fencing, yard, and where the pet will sleep.

We welcome questions via the enquiry button but we can not respond to ‘Statements’ - use the application form instead.
2. Review
• A team member will contact you via email if we require any further information. Please check your spam/junk folder regularly. If your application is shortlisted, we will also contact you by phone to discuss it further.
3. Agreement
• If approved, you’ll receive an adoption agreement to sign and return.
• Proof of address must be provided with your application or at the meet-and-greet.
4. Meet & Greet /
• A meet-and-greet will be arranged if you live in the same state. Otherwise, transport can be organised to your area, where you will have a 14-day trial period.
5. Transport and Date organised
6. Adoption Finalisation
• Once successful, adoption is completed and your new family member officially becomes yours.
