About Oscar
Oscar is an almost 3-year-old Golden Retriever x Border Collie with a big heart and plenty of love to give! He’s a loyal, affectionate cuddle bug who enjoys his daily walks just as much as relaxing at home with his favourite people. Oscar is friendly with other dogs and good with children, making him a lovely companion for the right family.
Oscar will need a home committed to continuing his lead training, as he’s a strong boy who can pull, particularly when he spots bicycles or scooters. He’ll benefit from patient, consistent training to help him navigate these distractions safely. He also has a strong prey drive, so a home without small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs or chickens is essential.
With his loving nature, Oscar would thrive with someone who has plenty of time for companionship, training and leisurely walks. A semi-retired or retired person, or a family where someone is home most of the day, could be a wonderful match. He’ll also need secure fencing and enough space to feel comfortable.
If you’re looking for a devoted best friend to share your days, enjoy your walks and curl up beside you on the couch, Oscar could be your perfect companion!
