Mickey is a gentle, affectionate boy who is all about the love. While he’s a quiet observer taking his time to adjust to a brand-new world, he is definitely not shy when it comes to attention! Call his name, and he’ll come running out to greet you, leaning full-body into your hand for love. His absolute favorite thing in the world? Cheek scratches! (Seriously, he’s obsessed! 😻)
Mickey’s Quirks & Favorite Things:
🪶 Playtime: Show him a feather wand, and you’ve got a friend for life!
💻 Co-pilot: He loves hanging out on the desk right next to you while you work.
🛋️ Ground-level Guy: For now, Mickey feels safest hanging out under tables and beds, but with a little patience, he’s bound to bloom into the ultimate couch (or lap!) buddy.
His Ideal Home:
Mickey is looking for a quiet, calm home without loud noises or fast-paced chaos. Because loud voices scare him, he’d do best in an adult-only household or one with gentle older teens. He was picked on by cats in his past, so he would be thrilled to soak up all your love as your one-and-only solo prince 👑 (though he might do okay with another gentle young cat with proper introductions).

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
