This handsome little man may take a beat to warm up, but once you earn his trust, he’s your absolute best mate! Percy is a quiet, low-energy boy who is happiest curling up on a soft pillow, watching the world go by through the window, or claiming your lap for endless pats. 💤🪟
Percy’s Ideal Home:
🐱 Cat Friends: Loves them! Having another friendly cat to play with and learn from would be a huge plus.
👶 Kids: Better with older, calmer kids (fast movements and loud noises give him a little fright).
🏡 Environment: A peaceful, quiet home with a patient human who has lots of love (and tasty treats!) to give.
Speaking of treats... Percy is very food-motivated! 🍗 While he came in as a brave little stray, he’s been watching his foster siblings and is eagerly learning how to play.
Percy isn’t aggressive in the slightest—just a gentle soul looking for a safe, cozy spot to call forever. If you have a calm heart, a quiet space, and a soft pillow waiting, Percy can’t wait to meet you! ❤️

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
