About Lily
Meet Lily ❤️
A gorgeous girl who makes being part of the family look effortless.
Sometimes the very best things come in unexpected packages, and Lily is a perfect example.
This lovely girl has settled into foster care beautifully and has shown just how easy she is to have around. She’s quiet, well-mannered and simply enjoys being part of everyday life.
Lily loves her walks, happily hops into the car and sits quietly in her own seat, and thoroughly enjoys pottering around the garden, exploring all the interesting things along the way.
Having previously lived as a singleton, she’s surprised everyone by how quickly she’s become part of the gang. She’s quite happy sharing her space with other dogs and has fitted right in.
She’s not particularly a cuddly girl, but don’t mistake that for being unaffectionate. Lily loves a good tickle or gentle stroke, and if she’s enjoying herself, she’ll let you know by gently patting you with her paw to ask for more. It’s rather lovely!
At night, she sleeps in her own bed beside her foster mum’s. In the morning, she’ll head outside for a toilet break before returning to join the others on the bed, patiently waiting for the treat delivery. She’s clearly worked out how things operate around here!
So, what sort of home is Lily looking for?
We think Lily would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a quieter, easygoing little dog to share their days with. She could happily live as an only dog, soaking up all the attention, or with another friendly canine companion.
She knows her name, enjoys her little outings, loves being included and doesn’t ask for much beyond a comfortable bed, a bit of affection and someone to call her own.
Lily has plenty of love to give, just in her own gentle, understated way.
If you’re looking for a lovely, easygoing girl who will slot into your life and become a much-loved part of the family, we think you might just have found her.
Requires regular grooming.
Weight 7kg
Medical notes
Several senior skin warts
Pentosan injections every 8-10 weeks for arthritis.
Occasional seasonal skin allergies.
Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in adopting through our rescue.
If you are shortlisted, a member of our team will be in touch within 7–10 working days. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately unable to enter into correspondence with unsuccessful applicants.
Shortlisted applicants will participate in a phone interview to help us assess the suitability of the home for the individual dog. The needs of each dog are our priority, and we will only proceed where we feel there is a strong match.
Successful applicants will have a meet and greet at a mutually convenient time with the foster carer. This will include introductions to all household members and any existing pets, as well as a property/fence check.
If all goes well, the dog may begin a 14-day trial period in the home to ensure the match is the right fit for both the dog and adopter. An adoption form will be completed and the adoption fee paid at this stage (fully refundable within the trial period if the placement is not suitable).
All relevant veterinary and adoption documentation will be provided upon successful completion of the trial period.
