About Cormack
Handsome, happy and full of energy, Cormack is a kelpie boy who knows how to turn heads. He gets plenty of compliments wherever he goes, but it’s his loyal nature and love for his people that make him special.
Like a typical Kelpie, Cormack is strong, active and always up for an adventure. He loves a game of fetch, especially with a football, and is always keen to play with his family and dog friends. He also has a great off switch, so he knows how to settle when it’s time to relax. In foster care, he’s been the best WFH buddy, lying at his foster mum’s feet and enjoying the early morning walks.
Cormack is a smart boy who already knows a few tricks, including sit, shake, down, stay and wait for his food. He’s learning loose leash walking and making good progress. He’s very food motivated, which makes training a rewarding experience, and he’ll thrive with a family who enjoys keeping his clever mind busy.
He’s overall a happy and confident chap who gets along well with other dogs, although he hasn’t been tested with other animals. Given his strength and playful nature, he’d be best suited to a home with adults or older children.
Cormack is looking for an active family who understands the needs of the breed and is committed to providing ongoing training, mental enrichment and plenty of physical exercise. He could make a fantastic running buddy and would love nothing more than to join his people on adventures and be part of everyday life.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share an active lifestyle with, Cormack could be your perfect match. Apply now!

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
