Meet Bindi,

A beautiful 5-year-old retired racing greyhound who has been living luxury since retirement 9 months ago. Unfortunately her owner’s situation has changed and she is in need of another home to embrace the finer things in life.

Bindi is a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely loves being close to her humans although is able to be left alone when needed. If you’re looking for a couch potato to snuggle up with or even share your bed with, Bindi might just be your perfect match (bonus she is on the smaller side!) She is a big fan of the indoor lifestyle although having access to both indoors and outdoors will help in perfecting her toilet training. She spends much of her time snoozing, a quick zoom around the yard and soaking up the sunshine with her toys whenever she gets the chance. Bindi is crate-trained and enjoys having a comfortable safe space to retreat to. As many retired greyhounds, she can suffer from sleep startle as she settles into a new home. It is important to let her rest undisturbed and allowing her to wake up by voice or whistle before touching her. When she’s not busy perfecting the art of relaxation, Bindi loves her walks, playing with squeaky toys and is a big fan of car rides. She travels well in the car and loves heading off on little adventures, including visits to doggy daycare and the beach! She is also very food-motivated and will happily accept treats, making her a delight to spoil. Bindi has shown she can get along with both cats and other dogs, with slow introductions to help everyone feel comfortable. Bindi is an easy going girl, which makes her suitable for most homes.
