About Floe
Hello there! I'm Floe, and I'm officially accepting applications for my forever family.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR FLOE
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM

My Ideal Home:
• Previous experience with my breed is essential.
• I'll need daily exercise - walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• Training, training, training - it's essential that I receive consistent guidance in every aspect of my life so I can become the very best companion as I mature.
• I want to be part of the family indoors - not left outside without interaction.
• I'd love plenty of toys and mental enrichment to keep my busy mind occupied.
• A good-quality dry food diet will help support my dental health.
• Most importantly, I'm looking for lots of love and attention from my family.
• I have previously lived with young children and we did NOT get along and is a large reason for by family surrendering me - as such I cannot be housed with kids under 12 years old.
• When I get excited, I can be a little bouncy and mouthy, my new family would need to feel comfortable and confident around an energetic, enthusiastic dog.
• I only like dogs around my own size or smaller and do not tolerate large dogs, I'm fine passing them on walks, but I would not like to closely interact/ live with big dogs. I'd love to have a doggy sibling to share my days with.
• I have a high prey drive, so I'm not suited to homes with cats or small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, or ducks.
My Paw-some Perks:
• I'm a very playful, happy pup with the cutest little wiggle-butt when I'm excited.
• I'm highly food motivated, which makes training lots of fun and helps me learn quickly.
• I know my basic commands like sit, shake and stay, and I'm always eager to learn more.
• I'm very social and happy to hang out with other friendly dogs - total social butterfly!
• I walk nicely on lead for a young dog, and with daily walks I'll only keep improving.
• I appear housetrained and am used to being allowed indoors as part of the family.
• I LOVE toys - especially my ball! Fetch and tug-of-war are some of my favourite games.
• I'm exuberant and full of beans, always ready for fun and adventure.
Training/Support Needs:
• I may show some resource guarding around toys or treats. I will trade happily for something higher in value, and with patience, consistency, and positive training, this is something we can continue to work through together.
• I'm currently carrying a little extra weight and would benefit from a healthy diet and regular exercise to help me slim down.
Please Note: You'll only be able to meet Floe if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
