About Charlie
Meet Charlie!
Charlie is a lively Jack Russell looking for an active home that can continue his training and rehabilitation while helping him build confidence. He loves being around people and quickly forms strong bonds, happily soaking up attention and spending time with his favourite humans.
Highly food motivated and eager to learn, Charlie is a great candidate for positive reinforcement training. He will benefit from ongoing support with his manners, confidence, and learning to feel comfortable spending time on his own.
Charlie would be best suited to an adult home, though he may also be suitable for dog-savvy older children or teenagers who can respect his boundaries and give him space when needed. He may be able to live with a easy going social female dog following appropriate introductions, he may also be suitable for a home with cats, pending slow and careful introductions.
With his affectionate nature, love of treats, and willingness to learn, Charlie has plenty of potential. If you're looking for a fun, loyal companion and are ready to continue his training journey, Charlie could be the perfect addition to your family.

Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
