💙 Meet Rixy! 💙
This handsome 2-year-old intact boar is on the lookout for a special friend to call his own!
Rixy is a lively little character with a sweet and cuddly side. He loves company and is desperate to find a guinea pig buddy to share his days with. He can be a little fussy with his food (capsicum is definitely NOT on his menu! 😂), but he's making improvements every day.
Rixy has been feeling rather lonely, and although he is currently fostered alongside a pair of males, where he gets to enjoy a little company, what he really wants is a friend of his very own!

Adoption details
Qld Guinea Pig Refuge holds open days at the Albany Creek Scout Den in North Brisbane on the first and third Saturday of each month. All adoptions require pre-approval and your application form should be submitted for processing at least two days prior.
The adoption fee for our guinea pigs is $25 each. Desexed guinea pigs are $35 each. They come fully health checked; worm and mite treated; and have been living at their foster carer’s house where they receive handling time.

Qld Guinea Pig Refuge is a guinea pig shelter dedicated to helping mistreated, abused, and unwanted guinea pigs in Queensland. To ensure they live a happy and healthy life, our guinea pigs are rehabilitated under our no euthanasia policy and then adopted under our strict adoption policy.
