Looking for foster care
About Sampson
Meet Sampson – The Gentle, Blue-Eyed Smooch Machine!
Gentle • Affectionate • Easygoing
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Colour: White
Gender: Male (desexed)
DOB: 24/08/2025
Microchip: 991001011315682
Foster suburb: Ermington, NSW
Sampson’s story began sadly. Found on the streets of Panania, he was emaciated and had deep bite wounds. We suspect he may have been bullied by other cats, as this sweet boy is a lover, not a fighter.
Since coming into care, Sampson has blossomed! Safe and loved, his beautiful personality has shone through. He has a very loud purr and adores rubbing around your ankles, snuggling on your chest and receiving endless pats. He’s also a big fan of food and especially loves creamy chicken treats!
Sampson is relaxed and easygoing, loves sprawling on a comfy bed and sleeps peacefully through the night. He has a lovely temperament and has never hissed or growled at his foster carer’s other pets. He’s well behaved in his carrier, seems to enjoy car rides and is a star at the vet - usually purring and hoping for a treat!
He is honestly the most friendly, sweet, loving guy right from the very second you meet him! His foster has done the most amazing job in nursing him to health from the state he was found in. And cleaning him up, showing him love, safety and a full belly all the time! He will be the most loyal, loving fur friend if your heart can find a place for him 🧡
One of Sampson’s special features is his mismatched eyes: one light blue and one ginger-amber. He deserves a safe, loving home.
A note about FIV: Sampson is FIV-positive, but will still enjoy a happy life. FIV is mainly transmitted through deep bite wounds, not everyday contact like sharing food bowls, grooming or cuddling. With careful introductions and compatible cats, an FIV-positive cat may be able to live with other cats.
Sampson has received his veterinary care and is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
Sampson is ready for a forever home where he’ll be cherished, cuddled and adored. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a beautiful nature and a purr that melts your heart, he could be your perfect match!

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept strictly indoors or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire: We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message to help us understand your home environment and match you with the right feline companion.
Video Tour: We require a video tour of your home to inspect key safety features, including secure screens on windows, doors, and balconies, and to see where your new kitty will settle in!
Meet & Greet: Once your application is approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home: If your application is approved and the cat has completed their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (adoption and admin fees are payable at this time).
Settling-In Period & Communication: Every adoption includes a 14-day settling-in period. We stay in touch during this time (preferably via WhatsApp) to support your cat's transition into your home.
Adoption Fees & Registration
Kittens: $350
Cats (1–3 Years): $275
Cats (3+ Years): $200
All adoptions carry a mandatory lifetime registration/admin fee of $62 on top of the adoption price to ensure your cat is officially registered in accordance with local council requirements.
