About Kenai AKA Kenny
Meet Kenai, affectionately known as Kenny, a sweet and loving dog eager for the companionship of his humans. Kenny thrives when he's surrounded by his family and is the perfect little helper when it comes to shadowing your daily activities, whether you're gardening, relaxing, or just going about your day. Though he weighs a petite 8kg, his personality shines brightly, making him a potential delightful addition to a caring and patient home.
Kenny seeks a special family that understands the importance of love, patience, and commitment. Due to his unknown history, he's still learning to trust, and it's important for his new family to be experienced in making him feel safe and secure. Kenny can be nippy when he's uncomfortable, so an approach that allows him to take the initiative for cuddles is best. Once he feels secure, he loves affectionate cuddling.
Kenny might experience some resource guarding, so we recommend a home with a calm and friendly female companion or for him to be the only dog. Additionally, he may show signs of separation anxiety and will need a loving household willing to shower him with unconditional love and understanding.
While in temporary care, Kenny has demonstrated the capability of becoming a wonderful companion. He would best thrive in a home ready to work with his veterinarian to manage his luxating patella, a condition requiring ongoing attention.
If you're looking for a loyal friend with whom to share your everyday moments and are eager to make a genuine connection with a deserving pet, Kenny could be the perfect match for you. His companionship and unwavering love will truly enrich your life.
