About Keda
Hi, I’m Keda, a beautiful purebred Siberian Husky with a certified limited pedigree, a big heart and just the right amount of sass!
I’m a kind, loving and affectionate girl who absolutely adores spending time with my humans. I love a good pat, plenty of attention and being included in whatever you’re doing. And yes, being a Husky, I do have a bit to say sometimes! I can be quite vocal when I’m excited, but that’s just part of my charming Husky personality.
I’m an active girl who loves getting out and about, whether that’s a big walk, a run around the dog park or simply spending time exploring. I can be a little enthusiastic on the lead when we first set off, but once the initial excitement wears off, I settle down and walk beautifully. I’m also a clever girl who knows commands like sit, wait, turn around and paw. I’ll even play a game of fetch occasionally, although whether I feel like bringing the ball back is another story!
I’ve grown up around children of all ages and have always been wonderfully calm, patient and tolerant, even with the littlest humans. I really do have a gentle nature and enjoy being part of family life.
I’ve also spent my whole life living with other dogs, so I’m quite accustomed to having canine company. I generally get along well with medium and larger dogs, although I can be a little cautious around smaller breeds. I have happily interacted with puppies too! I haven't had experience with cats or other small animals, so my compatibility with them is unknown.
Now, there is one thing you should know about me, **I absolutely LOVE my food!** Breakfast and dinner are probably my favourite times of the day, and I’m not shy about letting you know how excited I am. I can get a little protective of my meals around other animals, so I need to be fed separately where I can enjoy my food in peace.
I’m fully toilet trained and have experience living both indoors and outdoors. In my younger years I was an inside dog, although more recently I’ve spent my days outside and come indoors at bedtime. I’m very good at settling into my bed at night and will happily sleep right through until morning.
As a Siberian Husky, I’m part of a breed known for being intelligent, energetic, social and sometimes a little independent. We love companionship, mental stimulation and regular exercise, so I’ll need a family who understands that a happy Husky is one who gets plenty of opportunities to stretch their legs and use their brain. A secure yard with good fencing is also important, as Huskies can be curious explorers!
My ideal home would be with an active family or someone who enjoys getting outdoors and wants a loyal, affectionate companion to share their adventures with. I could happily live with another compatible medium or larger dog, provided we have a proper introduction and my mealtimes are managed separately.
Most importantly, I’m looking for a family who will appreciate my big personality, enjoy my occasional Husky conversations and give me all the love and attention I have to offer in return.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, affectionate girl with a gentle heart, a playful spirit and just a little bit of sass, I might be the one for you!-
