About Neville
Hi there. My name's Neville.
I'm a handsome little bloke with seriously impressive ears, a whole lot of personality and a story that could have ended very differently.
You see, my little life didn't get off to the best start. At just a few weeks old, I was found in a paddock with a small wound on my head. What seemed like a minor injury quickly developed into a much more serious abscess. Things became incredibly touch and go, and there was a very real possibility I might not survive.
But did I give up? Absolutely not!
I fought my way through one of the scariest battles a little bloke like me could face, and against the odds, I'm still here. Clearly, nobody told me I wasn't supposed to make it because of what happened, there are some question marks surrounding my health and development. There's a possibility I may have suffered some brain damage, but nothing has been confirmed. For now, I'm busy doing all the things puppies should be doing: playing, exploring, being cheeky and generally making my presence known.
Now, let's talk about my personality.
I'm sassy, cheeky, full of opinions and certainly not afraid to express them. Those ears aren't just decorative either. They're perfectly positioned to hear food being opened from three rooms away, while conveniently failing to register anything that sounds remotely like a command. Selective hearing? Never heard of it.
I'm also quite the social little bloke. I currently live alongside other dogs and get along wonderfully with them. I'm pretty good at respecting boundaries and appreciate having furry friends around. In fact, having a confident, friendly doggy companion to show me the ropes and help me learn about the world would be absolutely wonderful.
A big brother or sister wouldn't go astray.
Underneath all my sass is a very special little boy who deserves a future filled with love, adventures, cuddles, belly rubs and all the wonderful things life has to offer.
Now, before you get completely swept away by my ridiculously handsome face, there are a few important things you need to know.
I'm still a puppy, so I'll need patience, guidance, consistency and plenty of opportunities to learn. There will be puppy antics, questionable decisions and probably a few moments where you'll wonder whether I'm listening to a single word you're saying.
My medical history also means there are some unknowns about my future. My condition has not been confirmed, and we don't currently know what conditions I may have or whether I've sustained any lasting damage. The vets suspect I may have some mild brain damage, but they won't know whether this is the case or the extent of any potential effects until I'm older and have had time to grow and develop.
At the moment, I'm showing no obvious signs of anything holding me back, but nobody can guarantee what the future might look like.
I'm looking for a family who understands these uncertainties, is prepared to support me if I need extra help and will love me for exactly who I am, whatever the future holds.
Here's the thing about me: I didn't fight this hard to survive just to become someone's temporary excitement. I deserve a family who will stick by me long after the novelty of having a puppy wears off.
I don't need a perfect family, and I certainly don't promise to be a perfect puppy. I just need someone with a big heart, a little patience and room in their life for a little bloke with an enormous personality.
So, if you've got room in your home for a handsome boy with enormous ears, a cheeky personality and a love for his doggy friends, I reckon we should talk.
The odds once said I might not make it. Now I'm here, I'm fabulous, I'm full of life, and I reckon my greatest adventure is still waiting to begin. Could that adventure be with you?

Adoption Process
Please complete your adoption application in full and provide all required supporting documentation, including veterinary records for any existing pets and, where applicable, a copy of your current lease agreement with written permission to keep pets. Applications will not be assessed until all requested information has been received.
Applications are not approved on a first come, first served basis. Every application is carefully assessed to ensure the best possible match between the animal and their new home. We consider the individual needs of each animal, your lifestyle, experience, home environment, and ability to provide lifelong care. If we believe the animal you have applied for is not the right fit, we will happily work with you to find a more suitable match.
Cats are adopted as strictly indoor-only pets. They must not be allowed to roam outdoors under any circumstances. Secure outdoor cat enclosures or supervised harness walks are acceptable where appropriate.
Dogs will only be adopted into homes with secure, escape-proof fencing suitable for the size, breed, and needs of the individual dog. Applicants may be asked to provide photos or videos of their fencing and yard as part of the assessment process.
If your application is approved, your contact details will be provided to the animal's foster carer, who will contact you to arrange a meet-and-greet and, if suitable, a handover.
Prior to collection, you will receive an adoption agreement, copies of the animal's veterinary records, and payment details. The signed adoption agreement and full payment of the adoption fee must be received before the animal can leave our care.
We offer a two-week trial period to help ensure the adoption is the right fit for both you and the animal. If the adoption does not proceed during this period, the animal must be returned to our care. The adoption fee will be refunded less an administration fee, provided the animal is returned in the same condition in which it was adopted.
Our priority is placing every animal into a safe, loving, and permanent home. We reserve the right to decline any application if we believe it is not in the animal's best interests.
