About Lenny
With his chocolate-brown coat and striking green-hazel eyes, Lenny did very well out of the gene lottery!
And judging by the way he struts up to his doggy share plate, he knows it too. This plate is for one, thank you very much! Chowing down smack bang in the middle, he dares anyone to move him along. He’s happy to share… but only once he’s had first dibs.
As his foster mum writes this, Lenny is snoozing beside her, flat on his back and letting off almighty stinkers with a contented little grin on his face. Her heart is warmed knowing he feels safe enough to completely let his guard down.
He’s a playful, adventurous little spirit but actually loves nothing more than a snuggle accompanied by some belly scratches.
Lenny would love a home with a garden to explore and an owner or family who are around more often than not. As a working dog cross, he’ll need a family who understands the commitment involved in raising an active, intelligent pup. Regular exercise, plenty of mental stimulation and ongoing training will be essential to help him grow into a happy, well-adjusted adult.
Lenny has also made it very clear to his foster family that he has absolutely no intention of being just an outside dog. An inside bed, preferably with some snuggle time included, is non-negotiable!
If you think you could give this little dude the loving, committed home he deserves, please contact Sarah, his foster mum, at sewingreid@gmail.com.
