Meet Percy,
A good boy who's got the looks, the manners and just a tiny case of the butterflies!
Percy is a gentle, affectionate boy who prefers to take life at his own pace. He's not one for unnecessary drama, and while the world around him might occasionally get a little noisy, he's generally quite content. That is, until someone comes along offering pats! Percy is a big fan of affection and will happily lean into your hands, making it quite clear that the patting department is open for business, and he'd appreciate it if you didn't clock off early! He's also a polite little guy who knows how to sit and is learning to drop with a little encouragement. He might not have a whole collection of fancy tricks just yet, but he's got a sweet nature, a willingness to learn and a face that could probably talk you into giving him an extra treat or two.
A calm, supportive home with plenty of patience, positive experiences and gentle encouragement would suit him beautifully. He's shown interest in meeting other dogs, despite being a little unsure, he is open to meeting potential future doggy housemates. He's also open to meeting children, and while previous breed experience would be beneficial, it's certainly not essential for a family willing to understand his needs. Percy isn't looking to be the life of the party - he's more of a quiet afternoon, comfy couch and endless pats kind of boy.

Post Adoption Life:
With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
