About Palmer
Meet Palmer, a very sweet boy who is happy to let you know when he wants some attention. He will come to you for pats, headbunt you and purr away while he soaks it up. He’s a gentle soul who loves affection on his own terms, and he’s not overly keen on being picked up or handled, though he will put up with it when needed.
Palmer has come a long way since he first arrived with us. He was quite shut down in the beginning, but with time, patience and a calm environment he has really blossomed and shown us his softer side. A quieter, more mature household would suit him best, with people who understand that he likes to move at his own pace.
Palmer would be fine living with another cat, as he isn’t very interested in them, but he will need to follow the correct introduction steps. He isn’t suited to a home with children and prefers mature housemates. Moving into a new place can be a big adjustment for any cat, and Palmer may take a little while to feel safe again, so his new family will need to be patient and give him the time and space to settle in.
